"North Korea is doing these tests primarily to improve its military capabilities. (...). The Winter Olympics in Beijing and the elections in South Korea are coming up. From North Korea's point of view, it makes sense that it is now testing missiles. If negotiations with the U.S. and South Korea resume, the DPRK will be in a better position than it was before these tests," Ramon Pacheco Pardo explained to Pravda.
